Red Eyes – A Starbucks coffee made up of 3/4 black coffee, and 3 shots of espresso. I had a "red eyes" today. Never again I say! So let's start from the beginning….

Me and Joe stopped by Starbucks this morning and got some coffee. Our friend Alexis had told us about this drink the night before, and we thought we could try it. Our Philosophy teacher said we should have an extra session to talk about Heidegger. We knew we wanted to be alert because of our extended session. So we both get one; Joe gets 2 shots; I get 3.

Mistake #1: Drinking super caffeinated drink on an empty stomach. Boy did I regret this after class. Mistake #2: Adding sugar. As if this drink didn't already have enough caffeine. And Mistake #3: Not realizing how much I would be affected. I thought this would help me focus, but my mind was so erratic that I couldn't keep a straight thought. Not to mention I couldn't keep still. But apparently I had a huge grin the whole time.

After our first session was over, our teacher had offered to by the class coffee for our second session. I made the wise choice of going with a decaff ice tea. As we all stood around the coffee stand, we saw Chris who came over and talked to us. Everyone could see the caffeine's effect on me. My constant shaking and moving, along with slurred words. So we all continue over and keep talking about Heidegger for another two hours. Then I have to run and grab lunch, run back and take a test in Human Sexuality.

Busy busy busy! At least I found out I got an A on my paper!
